Our Story

Built to fix the part of hiring everyone ignores.

Most recruiting tools are built to track applicants. We built CandidateHub to build relationships with them. There's a difference — and it changes everything about how you hire.

Companies were sitting on large pools of candidate data in their ATS systems, job fair lists, and talent communities — yet they had no reliable way to consistently engage those candidates over time. Meanwhile, agencies kept submitting candidates that internal teams already had in their database. The data existed. The relationships didn't.

In sales, marketing automation platforms generate and nurture leads continuously — so sales teams always have someone to talk to. Recruiting had no equivalent. Candidates would express interest, enter a database, and disappear. We set out to build the engagement layer that recruiting was missing.

Recruiting shouldn't start with a job posting. It should start with a relationship. The companies that win on talent aren't the ones with the biggest job boards budget — they're the ones that stay connected to great people before they need them, and convert that connection into hires when the moment is right.

The data existed. The relationships didn't. We built CandidateHub to close that gap.
Our principles

How we think about talent engagement.

Relationships beat reactive hiring.

The best candidates are rarely actively looking. Building relationships before you have a need is the only sustainable recruiting strategy.

Consent is a competitive advantage.

We don't scrape. We don't spam. Every interaction on CandidateHub is opt-in and intentional. In a world of data harvesting, that's not just ethical — it's smarter.

Recruiters deserve leverage.

Recruiter burnout is a systems problem. When follow-up is automated and workflows run themselves, your team can focus on the conversations that actually move hiring forward.

Intelligence should be explainable.

Markis recommends. Your team decides. We believe every AI-driven suggestion should be transparent, grounded in real data, and easy for a human to override.

The team

The people behind CandidateHub.

A team with deep roots in recruiting, marketing, and product — united by a belief that hiring should be driven by relationships, not job board spend.
